Make resin coasters yourself

You need:

• JDiction Epoxy Resin (1:1 Mix Ratio)
• JDiction Resin Colorant
• Measuring Cups
• Mixing cup
• Stir bars
• Gloves
• Coasters silicone mold
• Glitter or other scatter decorations
• Acrylic colored pencils for the edges

Resin coasters DIY - This is how it works:

Preparation:
Have all the materials ready. Note that we recommend for your materials and workspace to be between 72-85°F.

Step 1: Mix our JDiction Epoxy Resin according to the instructions in a ratio of 1: 1 by volume. Stir well until no more streaks can be seen.

Step 2: For a transparent result, pour some resin just below the edge of the mold. Divide the remaining epoxy into different mixing containers. Mix the resin portions with color and add metallic pigments according to your wishes.

Tips: Please do not add more than 6% of the total combined volume of resin and hardener ( eg. 50ml resin + 50 ml hardener = 100 ml total would require no more than 6 ml of colorant. )

Step 3: After 24 hours the resin has hardened and you can take the pendant out of the mold (if using UV resin, have to cure with under the UV lamp or sunlight).
If you want, you can now set off the edges of the geodes with acrylic paint pens to finalize them.
